His lighthouse project at Swarovski includes the development & deployment of the yearly discount framework, as well as efficiently managing all global B2C promotions. His strategic approach to discount management has been pivotal in navigating the complex dynamics of the global market. His role extends beyond leading global B2C promotions; it’s about fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive sales while safeguarding the brand perception. Since two years, I am responsible for pricing at Europe's leading pet retailer, Fressnapf | Maxi Zoo. Over the last decade, I have worked on pricing in different areas and from various perspectives: a scientific approach during my Ph.D. in Economics at the Universities of Bonn and Toulouse, as consultant at McKinsey & Company, in the B2B area at DHL Parcel Germany, and now in the omnichannel B2C world.

Dr. Yola is the Director Pricing and Profit Management at Westwing, a leading online furniture player in Europe. Before joining Westwing, Yola led the Pricing and Inventory Management team at home24 as well as the Group Pricing team at Signa Sports United where she gained a track record on both strategic and operational commercial topics.

Yola holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim as well as a PhD in Behavioural Economics and published inter alia in the journal Experimental Economics.

He is a Certified Pricing Professional, holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain), has earned an MBA from the EEN European Business School (Spain) and an PDD Executive Program from IESE Business School.

Diana is a grocery retail expert with 10+ years of experience in the industry, currently working as a Global Director of pricing and category management for On-demand Grocery & Retail at Deliveroo. Diana is responsible for setting value strategy for Deliveroo grocery business as well as working on optimising ranges and merchandising for Deliveroo partners. Before joining Deliveroo, Diana worked as a Pricing and category management consultant at dunnhumby advising such brands as Unilever, Mars Food, Premier foods and retailer brands like Tesco, Coop Denmark and Coop Norway. Prior to that Diana worked in the Strategy and category management teams in the Retail helping to unlock operational improvements as well as implement price optimisation software.

Brian Sequeira

Brian Sequeira is a seasoned professional with an MBA in Finance and Marketing and over 10 years of experience in Data Science.

At Deliveroo UK, as a Senior Data Scientist, Brian developed and implemented an econometric pricing model for grocery items, customising it to meet multiple business goals and incorporating market prices to establish effective pricing strategies. His work also led to the successful execution of pricing and promotion experiments, overcoming challenging data and execution obstacles.

Prior to Deliveroo, Brian worked at prominent UK financial institutions like HSBC, Barclays, and Lloyds specialising in statistical and machine learning methods for predictive analytics.

Rafael Rossi Silveira

Pricing Manager in Oda (NO) since 2020, I've led the price reposition of the online grocer retailer in Norway in 2021 that made it the first fully online low cost groceries chain. 

Currently responsible for the development of the Pricing Discipline at Oda, I work with both the Global and Local teams to develop pricing tooling, methodology and implementation of price setting operations. 

Previously driving Pricing Strategy in Glovo (ES) and originally from Brazil, my background is in (B.) Law (USP-Br), (B.) Business Administration (EASP-FGV - Br), and (MSc) Economics York-UK), having since specialized in Pricing.

Dr. Markus Husemann-Kopetzky is an experienced pricing expert, passionate researcher, and founder of the Price Management Institute. The Price Management Institute helps market-leading retail and e-commerce companies professionalize their pricing function (and leave gut feelings and Excel spreadsheets behind). As a visiting researcher at Freie Universität Berlin, Dr. Husemann-Kopetzky contributes to current price research, lectures on price management, and advises doctoral students on their research projects. Dr. Husemann-Kopetzky not only knows pricing from the ivory tower but was part of the "engine room in pricing" at a leading global online retailer, where he developed and implemented pricing strategies in Germany, Europe, and beyond.

He holds a PhD in Business Informatics from the House of Finance at Frankfurt University.

Martin is leading the Retail & Consumer Products Practice at d-fine. With more than 10 years of consulting experience, Martin has a particular passion for rethinking business strategies and improving business operations by leveraging data insights and digital solutions. Martin’s focus areas include pricing, marketing, enterprise resource planning and logistics. He holds an MBA degree from Mannheim Business School complementing his PhD in physics.

Andy O'Brien

Following his masters at Cambridge, Andy took the short trip down to London joining a boutique econometrics consultancy. He followed this with a leadership role in Kantar on M&S and JSainsbury. Andy then jumped client side with sales and category roles in Unilever, innocent, Little Dish before returning to Unilever and most recently with Smartbox Groupe. Andy has managed PPA & innovation projects from conception to execution across ambient, fresh, non food and frozen categories. His experience on all major retail fascias in Europe enables him to take on the task of leading the Retail and FMCG verticals for EPIC and hopefully bringing some valuable insights during the conference.  Andy is a proud father of two children, slave to two dogs and keen sportsman having represented Ireland in rugby on 23 occasions at junior levels.

Before joining Quicklizard, Dr. Uhrich gained extensive experience in retail pricing as Partner and global expert for pricing at the Boston Consulting Group and as Head of Pricing & Online Marketing at zooplus, Europe’s largest online shop for pet supplies.

Dr. Uhrich holds a Ph.D. in behavioral pricing from TU Munich and is resident guest lecturer for pricing at ETH Zurich.
